Bis(diethylamino)(pentafluorophenyl)phosphane – a Push–Pull Phosphane Available for Coordination
نویسندگان
چکیده
A facile large-scale synthesis of the “push–pull”-substituted ligand bis(diethylamino)(pentafluorophenyl)phosphane is reported. A selenophosphorane as well as complexes with CuI and PdCl2, can be formed almost quantitatively from suitable starting materials. The PdII complex shows a square-planar coordination with significant distortions of the Cl–Pd–Cl moiety in the solid state. In contrast, the phosphane ligand exhibits a large flexibility in the trigonal-planar coordination of

Cis-trans isomerism in a square-planar platinum(II) complex bearing bulky fluorinated phosphane ligands.
Transition-metal complexes bearing fluorinated phosphane and thiolate ligands has been an area of study in recent years and the chemical context of the current work is related to the metal-assisted functionalization of fluorinated derivatives. The cis and trans isomers of the square-planar complex bis[(pentafluorophenyl)diphenylphosphane-κP]bis(2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzenethiolato-κS)platinum(II)...

In the mononuclear title compound, trans-[PtCl2(C19H17P)2], the slightly distorted square-planar coordination sphere of the Pt(II) atom is occupied by two benzyl-diphenyl-phosphane ligands and two chloride atoms in a mutually trans geometry. The effective cone angles for the two phosphane ligands are 160 and 169°. C-H⋯Cl inter-actions generate infinite long chains along [01-1]. Additional C-H⋯π...

L design is regarded as an important area in the development of efficient, profitable, and sustainable catalysts in industrial processes, addressing the fact that even small changes in the ligand periphery of an active organometallic molecule can dramatically alter yields, product uniformity, selectivity, and turnover numbers. As a consequence, the synthesis and optimization of new ligands at c...
متن کاملTransition Metal Complexes Coordinated by Water Soluble Phosphane Ligands: How Cyclodextrins Can Alter the Coordination Sphere?
The behaviour of platinum(II) and palladium(0) complexes coordinated by various hydrosoluble monodentate phosphane ligands has been investigated by 31P{¹H} NMR spectroscopy in the presence of randomly methylated β-cyclodextrin (RAME-β-CD). This molecular receptor can have no impact on the organometallic complexes, induce the formation of phosphane low-coordinated complexes or form coordination ...

The title compound, [CoH(C(18)H(15)P)(2)(C(2)H(6)OS)(2)], was synthesized by the reaction of chloridotris(triphenyl-phosphane)cobalt(I), [ClCo(PPh(3))(3)], in the presence of one equivalent potassium hydridotris(pyrazol-yl)borate in dimethyl sulfoxide. The structure displays a distorted trigonal-pyramidally coordinated cobalt(I) atom, with two phosphane ligands and one DMSO ligand in the equato...
